This gallery piece was inspired by the animated series Common Side Effects on Adultswim. The show features these little kodama-like beings who live in a different reality than ours, but who humans are able to see if they eat a special blue mushroom—called the blue angel. The idea of this mossy boar popped into my brain as someone who helps the little creatures protect the blue mushroom, as its effects are valuable beyond measure. Watch Common Side Effects!
